To create these cards, I stamped the largest butterfly from THIS Heartfelt Wings stamp set. I used coordinating inks to give a tone on tone look. I used THIS coordinating die to cut it out. I also cut several from white cardstock for the back panel of the cards. I scored the top of the white butterfly die cut and added adhesive only above that line to create a hinge for the card to open. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set in a coordinating ink and used the same coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered the sentiments in the center of the butterflies.
It’s hard to see in the photos but I spritzed it with THIS shimmer spray to give each butterfly some shine.
I also stamped a smaller butterfly image from the same stamp set on the flap of the envelopes to tie everything together…
I love that it will stand up nicely…

I love using tone on tone. It just looks so classy. I also am amazed of the versatility of Sabrina’s stamp and die sets. And being able to use dies and stamps from previous releases is another reason why I love her products. This one of the butterflies and birds is one of my favorite.
