4 Bar Thank You Cards

Hello, crafty friends. I was in need of thank you cards for an upcoming event so I mass produced some featuring an acrylic block background technique…

VIDEO
You can watch the video on this technique HERE or click on the video below…

To create this card, I started by creating the background. I applied Distress Ink to an  acrylic block , spritzed with water, and laid it down on a slimline panel. I put something heavy on it for a few minutes to let it dry a bit. This helps keep the color saturation. When I removed the acrylic block, I was left with a watercolor look background. If you don’t have an acrylic block, you can also use a piece of acetate for a similar look.

After the pieces were dry, I die cut them using a stitched rectangle die and adhered them to THESE 4 Bar Note Cards.

I stamped the sentiment from THIS stamp set using black ink.

You can watch a video HERE on why this is my all time favorite stamp set. 🙂

I hope this has inspired you to try out this acrylic block background technique.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!
