Hello again, crafty friends. It’s cold here in Ohio so I thought I would share a warm Christmas scene card and daydream about the beach…
I started by creating the background. I ink blended a mini slimline panel with three colors of Distress Oxide Inks and spritzed water on top to add some texture and interest. I stamped the wave image from THIS Warm Christmas stamp set using blue ink and then shifted the panel in my Misti and stamped again with white pigment ink. I tore a strip of THIS woodgrain cardstock to resemble the sand and adhered it along the bottom of the card.
Next, I stamped all the images from the same stamp set and colored them in with Copic Markers. I used THESE dies to cut them out. I used foam tape on some pieces and adhered the others directly down…
I finished off the card by stamping a coordinating sentiment.
I also stamped the inside of the card with another sentiment from the same stamp set along with a crab image to tie everything together…
