Holiday Sparkle Release

Hello again, crafty friends. Today’s card features new products from THIS release by Simon Says Stamp…

To create this card, I stamped THIS image on the top and bottom of an A2 sized white panel. I used THIS coordinating die to partially cut it out. I made sure the top plate of the die-cut machine ended right before the bottom line of the die. This allows it to cut the top part of the image and not along the bottom. I colored in the images with Copic Markers.

Next, I used one of THESE rectangle dies and THIS embossing mat to make an impression in the center of the white panel to create a focal point. I hot foiled THIS hot foil plate using gold glimmer foil on to a piece of THIS black glossy cardstock. I used THIS older die to cut it out and it lined up perfectly! After adhering the word in place, I finished it off with THIS acetate sentiment that I foiled with red. This foiling is done with a laminator and since the acetate sentiments are printed with toner ink, it foils beautifully…

I adhered the entire panel to a notecard that I topped with a piece of black glossy cardstock. I finished off the design with a few embellishments cut from gold matte cardstock as well as some glossy accents on the berries for some shine.

I also stamped the envelope with the same image to tie everything together and to create a place to write the recipient’s address…

I hope this has inspired you to do some partial die-cutting on your next project.

Thank you so much for visiting. Happy crafting!

What a beautiful card, and I love the matching envelope. I hardly ever do that with my envelopes and I really should start because it just adds that extra bit of festiveness.
