Hello there, crafty friends. Today’s card share features THIS new release from Picket Fence Studios…
I started by creating the kraft background. I inked up THIS new snowflakes stencil with white pigment ink and laid it on a kraft cardstock panel face down and ran it through my die-cutting machine with an embossing pad. Not only does it “stamp” the paper but leaves an impression. It’s hard to capture in the photos but gives an embossed look. I die-cut the piece with an arched die. I cut the side with the curved shape and then flipped it and cut the other side with the curved shape of the die to get a whole new look.
I adhered the piece to a notecard covered with a piece of black glossy cardstock. I stamped the images from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I also cut a few extra to adhere behind each for added dimension. I finished off the card by adding a few snowflake embellishments from THIS sequin pack…
I also inked up the stencil on the flap of a white envelope with black ink to tie everything together…
