STAMPtember 2022

Happy STAMPtember, crafty friends! If you are unfamiliar with STAMPtember, it’s a month long celebration of stamping and crafting. There is so much fun in store for this month but let’s start with a set of cards I created with THIS STAMPtember release by Simon Says Stamp…

I couldn’t pick just one ornament from THIS stamp set so I made a card using all of them! I was inspired by THIS video by Jennifer McGuire and made the ornaments swing back and forth. You can see my cards in action HERE. Swipe on the post to see the video.

For each card, I stamped a background and “hung” the ornament from THIS die. I stamped all the sentiments from the same stamp set.

Here’s a closer look at each card….

To get the ornaments to “swing”, I die-cut a small circle in the background and placed a small cardstock strip behind that had a penny attached at the bottom and a pop dot at the top. This is hidden by the die-cut.

For this card, I stamped THIS background using embossing ink and added perfect pearls on top for some shine…

For this background, I swiped three colors of ink on the background for a quick, ombre look…

How cute is this Santa?!…

The last card features THIS new background…

I hope this has inspired you to create a card with movement.

I will be back soon with lots more STAMPtember inspiration. Happy STAMPtember!
