STAMPtember 2022 Tim Holtz Collaboration

Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s STAMPtember collaboration stamp set is THIS one from Tim Holtz…

I started by stamping the main image and sentiment from THIS stamp set with black pigment ink and clear heat embossing it for some shine. I masked off the Santa scene and ink blended the night sky. Once it was dry, I masked off the sentiment area and applied white pigment ink over the ink blended sky to create a snow scene…

Once dry, I removed the mask and used Distress ink to watercolor the main image. Once that was dry, I added in some shading with Copic Markers. I also added some shine with a sparkle pen on the roof.

I slipped the piece into one of THESE shaker pouches and added some of THESE Mica flakes for a snowy scene…

Here is a look when you shake it up…

I stamped another sentiment on the flap of an envelope to tie everything together…

I also created another card with THIS stamp set and I used THESE new Distress Watercolor pencils…

I spritzed the snowflake stamp with water and then scribbled on a few blue colors of the distress watercolor pencils. I spritzed again and stamped for a messy watercolor look. I repeated that process until the background was filled. Once dry, I stamped the image again with blue ink to get more detail. I applied glossy transparent texture paste through the stencil included with the stamp set in the openings in the background around the snowflakes. Once that was dry, I swiped on some crackle paste in random spots in the background. Once that was dry, I ink blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on top….

I finished off the card by white heat embossing a sentiment from the stamp set on a blue cardstock strip and added some of THIS around the edges for some shine…

I stamped the snowflake images on the flap of a blue envelope with with white pigment ink to tie everything together…
Thank you so much for spending some time here today. Happy STAMPtember!

P.S. The collaboration stamp sets are limited editions. Once they sell out, they are gone for good.
