Reverse Confetti Birthday Card

Hi, crafty friends. I have a fun birthday card to share today…
To create this card, I die-cut the Folklore Cover Panel from white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Buddies Banter stamp set along the bottom using black pigment ink. I die-cut several pieces of colored cardstock from the Large Rainbow Circle die and stamped the flower image on top from the Wildflowers stamp set using clear ink. I stamped the image several times to get a tone on tone look.

I die-cut a larger circle from blue cardstock and adhered it behind the smaller circle. I stamped the balloon and bee image from the Birthday Buddies stamp set and colored the with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and adhered them to the stamped die-cut circle. I adhered the bee down with a mini action wobbler to make it look like he is flying.

Here’s a closer look…

I love adding finishing details to my cards. I used a shimmer pen to add some sparkle to the wings of the bee, a black glaze pen to make the bee’s eyes pop, and crystal glaze for some shine on the balloon’s and bee’s wings.

I also stamped the same flower image from the Wildflowers stamp set on the flap of the envelope to tie everything together…

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Happy crafting!
