Hi, crafty friends. The Ink Blot Shop has a new release HERE and today’s project feature their new envelopes…
THESE and THESE envelopes are so fun and I wanted to showcase them in a different way so I made treat sacks from them.
For the first example…
I sealed up the Painted Sunset envelope and trimmed just a bit off the top. I die-cut a circle from the center and stamped the smile sentiment using the Outline Alpha stamp set. I placed a smiley face cookie on the inside.
There is also more alignment guides in this release! I used one to line up the alphabet stamps before stamping…
For the second example, I made a treat sac from a Rainbow Splatter Paint envelope…
I was inspired to make this one by Jennifer McGuire’s video HERE. I sealed the envelope and trimmed a bit off one of the openings. I scored 3/4 of an inch on the three sealed sides and pushed in the sides. I adhered the to triangle flaps to the bottom using strong double sided adhesive.
I stamped a few images and a sentiment from the LIttl stamp set and attached it to the bag with a mini clothespin and a bow….
It is the perfect size to hold some candy and a gift card. A great pick me up!
I hope this inspires you to create some treat sacks from envelopes!
Thank you for visiting today. Happy crafting!
