Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card showcases THIS new card kit from Simon Says Stamp.
To create this card, I started by die-cutting the 3-D card die twice from Sea Glass Cardstock. I stenciled on clouds using white pigment ink with the Clouds for Days stencil and stamped a sentiment from the kit’s stamp set. I stamped the adorable critters from the same stamp set on a 2 3/4 x 5 1/2 white panel and colored them with Copic Markers. I stamped a few sentiments on the panel and then added crystal glaze to the balloons for some shine.
I stamped the critters on masking paper and cut out the images. I applied the masks over the images so I could stencil clouds on top. After the panel was decorated, I adhered it to the flap of one of the panels. I adhered the other panel to that panel and adhered the flaps together. My friend Nina created a great video explaining how to put together this die HERE. I also stamped cloud images from the stamp set, cut them out, and adhered them to the blue panel.
These 3D cards fold flat and fit inside an A2 envelope.
I will be putting this one in a larger envelope because I had the cloud images hanging off the sides of the panel.
