Father’s Day Cards

Hi, crafty friends. I have a trio of super simple Father’s Day Cards to share using new products from THIS new Ink Blot Shop Release…

To create these cards, I stamped several sentiments from the Hey Dude stamp set. I used THIS alignment guide to help keep them straight. I stamped all of the sentiments on an A2 panel of gray, blue, and green cardstock using coordinating ink for a tone on tone look. Once they were stamped, I cut them into thirds and used the pieces to create blocks of color. I finished off the design by rounding the bottom corners.

I created envelopes from the same colors of cardstock and applied ink through the All Tied Up Stencil on the envelope flap to “tie” everything together. Pun intended. LOL

Here’s a closer look at each card…

I hope this inspires you to create a text background and try a color blocking background. It’s a great way to make multiples of cards and works with any design, not just text…
Thank you for visiting today. Happy crafting!
