Spring Slimline Card

Hello, crafty friends. I have a spring themed slimline card to share today…
I started by stamping a couple of yellow birds from the Sweet Birds stamp set. I find it helpful to die-cut the coordinating die from white cardstock and stamp on that to make it easier to align the images. I also stamped a couple of tree limbs from the same stamp set as well as some flowers from the Blooming Circle die.

I adhered all the pieces down to a slimline panel. I had this panel leftover from THIS card. I used the leftover ink that was on the stencil from that project, sprayed it with water and used the stencil like a stamp to make another background. I love how I got a soft, pastel background from that bright, rainbow card. I also like how I got the reverse image of the stencil on this card…
I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment from the XL Spring Greetings stamp set.

I also created a coordinating envelope…

You can find more information about the envelope HERE.

I hope this has inspired you to use up those leftover background panels.

Thank you so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!
