Howdy, crafty friends. I love when one technique turns into multiple backgrounds and I wanted to share two cards I created from second generation stamping…
Recently, I shared THESE cards with THIS video where I shared how you can get another background by stamping a second time. The first generation of stamping was bright and bold. These second prints were much softer. I die-cut the prints using the Stitched Rectangle die. I thought it would pair nicely with a baby theme, so I silver heat embossed the sentiment on top using the Darling Baby stamp set.
I stamped the stroller image from the Baby Gender stamp set and then adhered the piece to a colored cardstock notecard. I used the coordinating die to cut out the stroller image to create a window…
I finished off the design with a few heart embellishments created from the Mini Hearts Party die and silver matte cardstock…
I also embossed one of the Baby Words die on the flap of each envelope using an embossing mat in my die-cut machine…
A closer look at the window that the coordinating die created…
I hope this inspires you to try second generation stamping.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
