Birthday Shaker Cards for Gamers

Hello, crafty friends. I have two shaker cards to share today that would be perfect for any gamer in your life.

I’m a big fan of using shaker pouches because they make shaker cards super quick and easy.

For the first card…

I die-cut a black controller using the My Favorite Things Game Controller Die as well as a sentiment from the My Favorite Things Level Up stamp set and adhered it to the front of the shaker pouch. Remember, there is a film on the front of the shaker pouches that have to be removed before adhering anything on top.

I placed in a piece of green patterned paper inside the shaker pouch and sealed up three of the four sides. I added some shaker bits inside made up of mostly die-cuts. I added some of the leftover bits from the Game Controller die as well as some star dies cut from patterned paper. I sealed up the shaker pouch and used strong, double sided tape to adhere it to a A2 white card base.

I stamped the flap of a green envelope with the Magic Stars Background stamp to tie everything together. A closer look…

For the second card…

I decided to do a horizontal design instead of a vertical one. I stamped the Circle Pattern Background Stamp in black on to white cardstock. I colored in some of the circles with Copic Markers and laid the piece inside the shaker pouch and repeated the same process as the first card but added some circle die-cuts to the mix. I added a white game controller instead of a black one and stamped the flap of a blue envelope with the same background stamp…

I hope this inspires you to create a fun shaker card that any gamer would love.

Thank you for joining me today. Have a great day!
