Hoppy Days Ahead Card Kit

I started by cutting the patterned paper into small strips. I laid out all of the strips vertical first. It was a row of five and adhered only the very top of each strip to the gray panel. I started weaving in the remaining strips horizontally. Once I was happy with the placement, I added dots of liquid glue to the ends to secure it. I cut a dark gray frame to go around the panel and adhered it to a side folding white notecard. I embossed the Detail Ringlet Plate using my embossing mat in my die-cut machine on the front of the white card base to add some texture.

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut out the bunny and heart images from the Hoppy Days Ahead stamp set (included in the kit). I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set using dark gray ink on a die-cut speech bubble. I added pom poms to the bunny’s tail and crystal glaze to the hearts for a few finishing touches.
