Basic Box Card Week-Day 4

Howdy, crafty friends. The Basic Box Card Week continues with my favorite design yet…
Instead of the typical vertical orientation, I flipped it and used a horizontal orientation to create a fish tank! It was assembled the same way as the previous examples (See Day One’s post HERE for more assembly information). I stamped and colored a few fish and plants from the Oceans of Love stamp set and die-cut the Picture Book Fish die. I added a few of them with acetate that is attached to the cloud borders that I cut from vellum. I used a heavy vellum. If you have a lightweight vellum, you can always double up the die-cuts to make it stronger. I also stamped, colored, and cut the fish food jar from the Fantastic Friends stamp set and added some tiny prills for a realistic gravel look. I applied some Crystal Glaze with a q-tip to the center bottom to give the look of water.

Here’s a closer look…

I also decorated the back for a place to write a message to the recipient…
It folds flat to fit inn A2 envelope.

Thank you for stopping by. I’ll be back with the another box card design tomorrow to wrap up Basic Box Card Week.
