Basic Box Card Week-Day 2

Hello, crafty friends. I’m back with Day 2 of Basic Box Card Week. If you missed the first day, you can find it HERE. I used the Basic Box Card Hearts dies yesterday for the inserts. Today, I’m sharing a box card using the Basic Box Card Clouds dies…

I created today’s card the exact same way I did yesterday’s card. I die-cut all the pieces from black cardstock. I added two of the cloud inserts and the back panel was cut from the Classic Sunburst 6×6 paper pad. I stamped and colored the super hero lion image from the Super Friend stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I adhered it to the back panel with a mini action wobbler to add some movement and resemble flying. I adhered a skyline scene from an older Simon Says Stamp stamp set (From the Rooftops) to the back of the first cloud layer.  I added a sentiment from the Superhero Bursts stamp set and a few holographic hearts cut from the Mini Stars Party die. I finished off the design with a pre-printed sentiment strip along the bottom.
Here’s a closer look…

Again, I love that these box cards will fold completely flat and fit inside an A2 envelope.

The back is a great place to write a message. I decided to decorate it using elements from the front…

Thank you for joining me today. I’ll be back tomorrow with another Basic Box Card example.
