Hi there, crafty friends. I’m back with more inspiration from THIS new DieCember release…
I started by die-cutting the Detail Tapestry Plate on a white panel for the background. I love that it pierces a pattern instead of cutting. I embossed the Mini Slimline Lattice die on a piece of kraft cardstock using an embossing mat in my die-cut machine. I cut it down and added a thin black mat to three sides and adhered it to the white background. I die-cut the Party Candle die from colored cardstock. I added VersaMark on top of the bottom of the candles and added clear embossing powder to give them a glossy shine. I added crystal glaze to the tops of the candles and added the It’s Your Birthday die-cut on top. I finished off the design with a few stars I cut from holographic paper using the Mini Stars die as well as pre printed sentiment strips.

I also stamped the front of the envelope to match. I die-cut the same Party Candle die from fun foam and temporarily adhered it to an acrylic block. The foam stamps so well and it’s a great way to stretch your dies…
