Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s card share features a hidden gift card holder…
I started by embossing a piece of green cardstock using the Magnetic Embossing Folder. I added a mat behind the piece and adhered it to a top folding white note card. I die-cut the Stitched Arches die from white card stock and stamped the tree image and sentiment from the Heart of Christmas stamp set. I applied ink through the coordinating stencil to quickly color in the image. I adhered the piece to the embossed background using foam tape. I only put tape on the left and right side and the bottom, creating a pocket for a gift card to slide into.
I like that the die-cut piece hides the gift card. However, you could add a topper to the gift card so that it is more noticeable to the recipient. I plan on just writing a note on the inside of the card.
I finished off the design by adding shine to the hearts with a shimmer pen and crystal glaze to the star.
I hope this inspires you to create a gift card holder for the Holidays. I share more gift card holder ideas HERE.
Thanks so much for spending some time here today. Have a great day!
