More Peace on Earth Release Inspiration

Howdy, crafty friends. I’m back with more inspiration from THIS new release. Today’s card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire’s Stamped Edge Technique video HERE.

I started by covering a side folding note card with kraft card stock. I stamped the pumpkin border image from the Let the Gourd Times Roll stamp set and used the coordinating die to partially cut it out. To do a partial die-cut, you need to half the image hanging out of the top cutting plate. It will only cut the half that is under the cutting plate. The half that is cut makes for a fun edge to your card!

I stamped the same image on white card stock, colored it with Copic markers, and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I adhered it down to the stamped image on the kraft cardstock. I die-cut the Oh My Gourd die using white woodgrain cardstock and  stamped a coordinating sentiment underneath from the same stamp set. I also added a sprinkling of sequins.

I added a piece of patterned paper to the inside of the card as well as a couple of green strips for a finished look.

I also stamped the flap of the envelope with the same pumpkin border image to tie everything together.

Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you give this technique a try. It’s so easy and can be used with any supplies.
