So Talkative Card Kit

Hello, crafty friends. The October 2021 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is now available! I used it to create these three cards…

I started by creating the background. The kit comes with a 6×8 stamp set (called So Talkative) that includes a ton of fabulous sentiments. I picked out several and arranged them on an A2 sized white panel, leaving room for the main sentiment in the middle. I picked them all up at once on the door of my MISTI and stamped them on multiple panels with a few different inks. I applied the matching ink through the kit’s stencil (called Talk Bubbles) to create a colored speech bubble. After it was dry, I stamped the “Hi, friend” sentiment in black on top. I finished off the design with a trio of holographic die-cut hearts cut from the Mini Hearts Party Die.

I also used the kit’s embossing folder (called Kaleidoscope) to emboss the flap of each envelope. Here’s a closer look at each card…
