1. SPARKLE AND SHINE
There are several products I use often to give a card extra sparkle and shine The top two products I use for this is the Nuvo Crystal Glaze and the Aqua Shimmer Pen. For this card, after stamping and coloring the images from the I Chews You stamp set, I applied the shimmer pen to the cookie, cupcake and ice cream glass. I applied the glaze to the suckers, cherry, and straw.
I also like to use Liquid Pearls for icing and a black glaze pen on the eyes to make them pop. Here’s a closer look…
2. STAMP ON THE INSIDE
I don’t always stamp on the inside but I think it really ties everything together. It usually doesn’t take too much extra time since the supplies are already out.
3. DECORATE THE ENVELOPE
As card makers, we spend so much time on our cards but sometimes overlook the envelopes. The envelope is a great way to continue the design. I often stamp on the flap or for this card, I die-cut an envelope liner out of some patterned paper. A simple touch that can pack a punch! Washi tape is another great way to decorate your envelope.
