Reverse Confetti July Release Blog Hop

Hi there, crafty friends.  I’m excited to be part of THIS blog hop celebrating THIS new Reverse Confetti release.

I have two cards to share using the new release…

For the first card…

I stamped the large floral image from the Bloom stamp set and colored it in with Copic Markers. I added lots of shine with a shimmer pen and some gloss with Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I white heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on a mini slimline kraft panel. I adhered it to a pink mini slimline card base and added a few sequins to finish off the design.

For the second card…

I created a water like background by using my gel press with a couple of blue Distress Oxide inks. I die-cut the piece with the Stitched Pinwheel Cover Panel die and adhered the center parts directly to the card base and build up layers underneath the intricate piece to add some dimension. I stamped and colored the images from the Oceans of Love stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them to the panel to create an ocean scene and added a sentiment in the center from the same stamp set.

Here’s a closer look…

There’s much more inspiration to see…

The muted florals against the kraft are so pretty on the first card. The gel plate background is so lovely paired with all these sweet ocean critters! Thank you for sharing your creative cards!

Really nice work with the gel press. That blue speckle pattern is really uniform and it feels like water.
