Garden Greetings Card Kit

Hi, crafty friends. The July Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is now available! I created a card using some of the kit’s contents…

I started by applying Distress Oxide inks to the kit’s embossing folder. I applied it to the side that was flat, not the bumpy side. I spritzed it with water and laid in a piece of watercolor card stock and ran it through my die-cut machine. I love the messy watercolor look you get.

It’s hard to see in the photographs but I spritzed it with some shimmer spray too for some shine. After it was dry, I die-cut it using the rounded corner rectangles die and stamped a few hearts from the kit’s stamp set in the coordinating ink colors. I die-cut the shadow of the kit’s hugs die from the panel and adhered it to a black note card. I die-cut the hugs word three times and adhered them together for some dimension…

I also stamped on the flap of the envelope using a floral image from the kit’s stamp set. I inked it up with all three colors to tie everything together…

You can find out more about the kit HERE.

Thank you for visiting today. Have a great week!
