Hello, crafty friends. I’m sharing another card created with products from Simon Says Stamp’s new release HERE. Our family is at the beach right now so I thought it’s a great time to share this card…
I inked up the Sea and Sky background stamp in three parts using Distress Oxide inks. I love these kind of background stamps because you can pull apart the sections to stamp or keep it as a whole. So fun! For the middle section, I blended the ink right away after stamping to “color” in the water and flicked on a few water droplets to add some interest. I added the Sunny Days die sun to the sky and stamped and colored images from the Beach Beauties stamp set. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and added crystal glaze and my shimmer pen for lots of sparkle and shine. I added the beach umbrella with a action wobbler spring so it would move around. I finished off the design by stamping a sentiment from the same stamp set.
