Teacher Thank You Card

Hello, crafty friends. The school year is winding down so I’ve been creating projects to spoil my son’s teachers. I’m sharing simple thank you card today with a floating element…

I started by stamping the Open Grid background on a kraft panel using white pigment ink. After it was completely dry, I adhered it to a side fold note card and die-cut the peek-a-boo square from it to create a window.

I white heat embossed the apple pieces from the Organic Fruits stamp set and adhered it along the bottom of the window only, making it appear like it is floating…

I white heat embossed a sentiment strip from the Family Headline stamp set and finished it off with a teacher die-cut word that I cut from white fun foam. I added a red heart to the apple as well as some shine from a shimmer pen.

I also stamped on the flap of the envelope a sentiment from the Thank You Teacher stamp set to tie everything together.

Thank you for visiting today. Happy crafting!
