Hello there, crafty friends. Who else is ready for summer!? Today’s card is all about the summer vibes…
For the light blue background piece, I die-cut a piece of blue card stock using the Mini Slimline Rectangles Die. I clear heat embossed the Halftone Background pattern for some tone-on-tone interest. I die-cut the crab, fish, and turtle from scraps of colored card stock and assembled them in the openings of the Slimline Windows Die.
I white heat embossed the sentiment (from an older Simon Says Stamp set called Pool Party) and added googly eyes to all the critters for some fun. I finished off the design by adding some clear embellishments to resemble bubbles coming from the fish’s mouth.
