New Ink Blot Shop Release

Howdy, crafty friends. I have two cards to share using THIS new release from the Ink Blot Shop…

To create the first card…

I started by stamping the image from the Happy Mail Heart stamp set on to a white card stock panel and coloring it with Copic Markers. I used basic rectangle dies to create a thin border frame. I sandwiched some acetate between the layers of the frame and added some small envelopes from the Made For You Stamp set and some sequins on top of the white colored panel. I adhered the frame on top to create a shaker card. I finished off the card with a white heat embossed sentiment form the Solid Sayings stamp set.

Here’s a closer look…

I also stamped an envelope image from the Arts & Crafts Sentiment stamp set on the inside to tie everything together…

For the second card…

I white heat embossed the Dimensional Blocks Background on a kraft panel. I stamped the tiny heart from the Made For You stamp set inside some of the squares of the background, creating a whole new pattern. It’s a great way to get a whole new look and stretch your supplies. I finished off the design with a white heat embossed sentiment from the Happy Mail Heart stamp set as well as some images from the Arts & Crafts Sentiment stamp set.

I also wanted to decorate the inside of this card as well. I stamped the border image from the Envelope Mail Art stamp set…

For the back of the cards (as well as the flaps of the envelopes which I shared on the first photo), I used sentiments from the Made for You stamp set…

One more thing…

Tiffany sent me the above tumbler to try out and I love it. Not only is it so cute but it’s the perfect size. You can check out more about it HERE.

Thank you for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Heather, your shaker card blew me away. I thought it was a framed art piece from the Inkblotshop website so I came to your blog and searched “INKBLOTSHOP”. Wow, what a beautiful creation! You have such amazing talent, as Jennifer McGuire says. I hope you are at CREATE this year (2023) and I get to meet you, it would be an honor. It will be my first time at the event.
