Easter Card

Hi, crafty friends. I’m back today with an Easter card that features set back stamping using coordinating dies to create a frame around an image…

I stamped the iris flower image from THIS stamp set on two white card stock panels. I inked up the solid stamps from the set to add color to one of the panels along with some Copic Marker coloring. The other panel is just for placement of the window on top. I die-cut the image using THIS coordinating die and dry embossed it with THIS stencil to add some texture. I used an embossing mat in my die-cut machine to dry emboss the pattern of the stencil. I adhered the window panel on top of the colored panel adding fun foam between the layers for dimension. I finished off the design by adding THESE sentiment strips as well as adding some sequins.

Here’s a closer look…

I hope this inspires you to use coordinating die-cuts to create a window and add texture by dry embossing with stencils.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
