Roundimals Roundup

Howdy, crafty friends. Have you seen the Roundimals stamps and dies from Brutus Monroe? They have stolen my heart and I wanted to share the projects I made with them…

For the first card…

I stamped and colored THIS adorable owl and used the included coordinating die to cut it out. I started by applying white texture paste through THIS stencil to add subtle interest to the background. I die-cut the pieces from THIS die set from woodgrain card stock and ink blended Distress Oxide inks on top. Once it was blended, I applied the ink pad direct to paper and lightly swiped on the top of the surface. This makes the woodgrain texture stand out even more. I used THIS die set for the sentiment.

After adhering all the elements down, I added some glossy accents to the owl’s eyes as well as the pink heart. I also added some colored pearls to the center of the flowers.

For the second card…

I used THIS spray stain to color the pig. I sprayed it on a piece of card stock and then stamped the pig image on top after it was dry. I used the included coordinating die to cut it out. I stamped another pig image on white and cut out the eyes and added it to the pink pig. For the background, I ink blended some Distress ink to create a scene of sky and mud and created a white fence out of an old window shutters die. I cut that from THIS woodgrain card stock for some added texture. I die-cut hearts from THIS die from the remaining spray stain panel and added them around the coordinating sentiment. I also added a mud puddle from THIS stamp set as well as a sun die-cut. To finish off the design, I added one of THESE to the back of the pig so he moves and shakes in the mud.

For the third card…

I stamped THIS koala and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to add color to the image. I used the included coordinating die to cut it out. I die-cut THIS leafy frame from green patterned paper. I flipped one panel upside down so there was more leaves peeking out before adhering them on top of each other. I added them to THIS woodgrain panel that I stamped the coordinating sentiment on. I adhered the koala behind some of the leaves.

For the last card…

I stamped and die-cut THIS penguin. I added color to the image using THESE pencils and used a bit of water to blend it out. I white heat embossed THIS background on blue card stock and used a circle die to cut the center opening out. This created a window for the penguin image. I added shimmer spritz spray for some sparkle as well as some pearls. I added a sentiment from THIS stamp set.

I love that the Roundimals stamps include the coordinating die. These little stamp sets pack a big punch.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
