Slimline Envelope Die

Howdy, crafty friends. Back in February, I shared THIS post where I shared more information about envelope dies. I want to add another size envelope to that mix. Slimline cards are so popular right now and I’m excited to create envelopes for them using THIS new die…

Just like my previous post, I die-cut THIS die using some Bo-Bunny dot 12×12 paper (that I’ve hoarded forever LOL) in a rainbow of colors.

After cutting the main long piece, I cut the flaps for the sides. Since I’m using a patterned paper, I had to cut the flap from the back side of the paper to have a mirrored flap for the two to meet up correctly. Once you adhere those to the sides, you adhere the flaps together and then the bottom flap on top.

One thing to note about this die is you have to run it twice through your die-cut machine unless you have a bigger style of machine. I tape my die down to the paper with THIS tape and run it through and then slide it down and run it through my machine again to get a full cut.

The envelope measures 4.125 x 9.5 inches.

What I love about envelope dies is they give you the freedom to cut it from whatever card stock you want. You can use patterned paper, colored card stock, or specialty papers like I did HERE.

I hope this has inspired you to create your own envelopes.

Thanks for stopping by. As always, I appreciate your support.
