Simple Christmas Cards

Hello, crafty friends. I have a set of simple Christmas cards to share today…

To create these cards, I started with a bunch of backgrounds that were piling up in my drawer….

I usually make more than one background when creating a card so I have a lot of extras on hand and wanted to put them to use. I die-cut THIS die from several pieces of white card stock and stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set. I placed the backgrounds behind the opening of the die-cut. I added the intricate piece on top of some and others I left plain to show more of the background.

Here’s a closer look at the cards…

For the first two examples, I used some of my leftover alcohol ink pieces from THIS post…

For these next two cards, I used an acrylic paint piece that I had leftover from THIS post and a striped piece that I had left over from THIS post…

These two were created from my foiling post HERE

The last two panels were created from Distress Ink blending…

I hope this inspires you to use your scraps to make some simple Christmas cards.

Thank you so much for visiting. Have a great day.
