Hi, crafty friends. Anyone else still creating Christmas cards/gifts and doing last minute Holiday shopping!? Every year I say that I am going to be ready early but it never happens. LOL
I’m giving out lots of gift cards this year and wanted to share a fun way to present them so I created some interactive gift card holders…
I started by creating the presents. I created card bases that were 3.75 x 5 inches and added patterned paper on top to resemble gift wrap. I added THIS bow on top. I adhered it to the flat 5 x 7 note card that I stamped THIS sentiment on and added THESE folding hands.
I love how it looks like their holding the present…
After the recipient opens the arms…
…they lift the flap of the mini card to reveal a gift card…
This idea would work for any holiday, not just Christmas. I think they would make great birthday cards.
