Card Drive for Wild Hearts

Hello, crafty friends. I’m sharing a bunch of cards today that I created for the Wild Hearts Card Drive. Ricky Bromero is organizing this card drive in support of Wild Hearts, a non-profit organization in Chicago that assists dogs with mobility issues and their human families. You can find out all the details of the card drive HERE.

I was able to make two batches of cards starting with Distress Oxide ink blended panels. I chose to do ombre panels that I spritz with water to add some texture. I die-cut the center with THIS circle die and added THIS, THIS, THIS, and THIS die-cut dog to the center along with a sentiment from THIS stamp set. I used the left over circle pieces to create another batch of cards…

I love when you can stretch a technique to create more cards. I stamped THIS background on the second batch of cards, die-cut a circle from that to use on the first batch of cards. I added THIS glitz glitter gel to the die-cut circle using THIS paw print stencil. I added THIS sentiment to a smaller circle to finish off the design. The sentiment reads, “happiness is a sloppy dog kiss”.

Here’s a closer look at the cards and the Distress Oxide ink combo (all inks linked at the bottom of this post)…

Ink Combo-Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries

Ink Combo-Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness
