Make Merry Release

Hi, crafty friends. Today’s project features products from THIS new release by Simon Says Stamp.

I white heat embossed a sentiment and snowflakes from THIS stamp set on a 5×7 white card panel. I ink blended with different shades of blue Distress Oxide inks over top to create a night sky. The white heat embossing resists the ink. I sprayed it heavily with THIS for some shine.

Next, I cut a grassy hill using THIS stitched die and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I die-cut THIS gnome house from a variety of colored card stocks and added a string of lights from an older Simon Says Stamp set (Build a Snowman) and a gnome sentiment from THIS stamp set. I used THIS woodgrain card stock for the door and ink blended THIS ink on top. I die-cut THIS gnome from colored card stock and THIS grass border. I also added some presents from THIS stamp set and cut them out with THESE coordinating dies to complete the scene.

Here’s a closer look…

The great thing about 5×7 cards is the recipient can frame them and turn them into home decor. I used a simple white frame for my card…

I hope this inspires you to create a scene card and turn it into home decor!

Thank you so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!

P.S. You can see the entire release HERE. I’ve linked it below as well as supplies used to create today’s project.

This is a precious card. It is really hard to find the “comment” button on your site- just FYI from someone who loves a good blog hop. I really love the bright colors!
