Pinkfresh Studio STAMPtember 2020 Collaboration

Hi there, crafty friends. THIS stamp set is the next STAMPtember collaboration stamp set and it’s from Pinkfresh Studios.

Usually, I’m not a big fan of layering sets. I find them difficult, but these backgrounds came together in very little time and the layering portion is super simple. I chose to stamp the layers from THIS stamp set with Distress Oxide inks. The reason I chose these inks is because of their pigment properties. Dye inks absorb into the paper and pigment inks will sit on top. So, using a pigment ink (or using one with pigment properties) will allow you to stamp on colored card stock.

I stamped on three colors of card stock.

White….

…kraft…

…and black…

After each layer of stamping, I dried the panel completely. This makes sure the colors don’t bleed. I just love the different looks each color of card stock gives….

I die-cut THIS word to finish off the white card…

I stamped the sentiment from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out and adhered it to the black card…

If you want your stamping to be even more vibrant on colored card stock, try stamping the image first with white pigment ink. This will brighten up whatever color you stamp on top.

I hope this inspires you to stamp on colored card stock.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate your support.

P.S. This is a STAMPtember exclusive stamp set. Once it sells out, it will not be restocked.
