I started by embossing THESE dies towards the bottom of the card panel using THIS embossing mat with my die-cutting machine. Instead of cutting the paper, it makes an impression. I blended some of THIS ink on the waves to make them a bit darker and stand out. I also added THIS for some shine.
I die-cut a sand hill using THIS border die. For a realistic look, I blended some of THIS ink around the edges and sides as well as adding some dots using Copic markers. I stamped and colored a couple of images from THIS stamp set and cut them out using THESE coordinating dies. After adhering them in place, I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set on a die-cut sun. Behind the sun, I used the negative piece from die-cutting and ink blended behind the sun for added dimension.
