Kid’s Artwork Cards

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s cards features art work from my son…

I’ve saved many pieces of his sweet little art. Instead of storing all of them, I use some of them to make cards from. For all three of today’s cards, I used his rainbow drawings/paintings to create backgrounds for cards. For all of the sentiments, I white heat embossed a few from THIS stamp set on to black card stock.

For the first card….

I die-cut THIS adorable cloud from THIS fun foam and added it on top of Aiden’s drawing. I added the sentiment underneath and adhered the entire piece to a 5 x 7 black note card.

For the second card…

I just added a white heat embossed sentiment below the rainbow. The card base measures 5 x 7.

For the last card…

I added the white embossed sentiment in the upper left hand corner of his rainbow watercolor piece.

I hope this inspires you to create some cards from your child’s artwork. It makes it extra special for the recipient. A great card for a grandparent or teacher.

Don’t want to part with your child’s artwork? No worries. You can always scan the art and make prints from it and keep the original.

Thank you so much for visiting today. Happy crafting!
