Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

Hello, crafty friends. I’m excited to be part of THIS Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release in honor of Reverse Confetti’s 7th birthday. Yay! I have a tall, slimline card to share today…

I started by stamping the rainbow image from THIS stamp set (that is free with a $60 purchase! check the RC site for all the detials) towards the top of my card panel. The card panel and card base measure 3.5 x 9. I colored it in with Copics and stamped it on THIS masking paper and cut it out. I placed it on top of the rainbow to protect the image so I could add spots of blue colors to mimic a cloudy sky. I stamped and colored the images from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them to the card using THIS behind them for dimension.

For the bottom two images, I added balloons behind the images cut from the cat image to give the look of the critters flying in the sky.

I added THIS to all the eyes and THIS and THIS for some shine. I also added a sprinkling of THESE embellishments.

I stamped a sentiment on the inside to tie everything together…

I hope this inspires you to try a slimline card and build a scene.

What a fabulous slim line card! I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never tried one but they seem to be trendy right now and I think I need to get out of my comfort zone, so thank you for the inspiration!

Heather I really like the idea of a slimline card, either vertical or horizontal. As you’ve shown, you can really build a scene with it. Your colouring, as always, is superb. Thanks.
