Honey Bee Stamps Treat Shop

Hello, crafty friends. Did you know that Simon Says Stamp features a new brand every month? Honey Bee Stamps (one of my favorite companies) was featured for June HERE. Since we have one more day left in June, I thought I would share a card I made with some of my favorite Honey Bee products…

I started by die-cutting THIS die four times. I added some brick stenciling tot he bottom of the top layer and die-cut a window from the left side. I sandwiched some acetate behind the window opening and another layer of the the house base to hide the adhesive. I adhered the hinge to the inside and adhered two more house bases to the back, creating a card. I doubled up on the bases to give it some stability. I stamped the gnome from THIS stamp set and used THIS coordinating die to cut him out. I colored him in and added THIS for the watermelon seeds. I stamped and colored a bunch of images from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the roof of the treat shop, I used THIS paper. I ink blended a rainbow of Distress inks on a piece and sprayed it heavily with perfect pearls water. The perfect pearls settles in to all the cracks.

I LOVE the texture it gives…

I die-cut the piece using THIS die to create the roof and adhered it to the card base. For the inside…

I cut a strip of patterned paper and silver card stock to create a counter and added a bunch of stamped images from THIS stamp set to create a treat shop scene.

I hope this inspires you to build a scene on your next card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I appreciate your support.
