Sunny Days Ahead Release Blog Hop

Hi, crafty friends. I’m so excited to be part of the Sunny Days Ahead Release Blog Hop celebrating THIS new release. I’ve created two cards from one background image…

I started by heat embossing THIS background image on to THIS card stock using THIS embossing powder. I started with a 6 x 6 sheet of card stock so I could get the entire background image. I colored in the image with THESE markers and cut it in half so I could have two pieces for two cards. I added a gold mat to the edges of the panels using THIS card stock. I used the same card stock as well as white and black to die-cut THIS word. I adhered the die-cut word on the panel as well as THESE printed black sentiment strips.

Here’s a closer look…

I stamped the same background stamp on the flap of the envelopes to tie everything together.

I hope this inspires you to stamp the entire 6×6 image from your background stamps and make two cards.

I am not good at coloring. Color choices scare me as it never quite looks as good. Dont know how to properly choose color combinations.

Love tulips. They are one of the first
notices that spring is coming. The mix
of colors on your card is beautiful.
