Howdy, crafty friends. I have a fun paint background technique to share today…
I was doing some purging in my craft room and came across some tubes of acrylic paint. I thought the paint would be a great texture on a background. I started by squirting dots of color in a row on top of a piece of white card stock…
I took a piece of card stock and cut it to a card panel size and then folded it in half. I started at the top of the paint and pulled the paint down, covering the entire panel. I had paint left over so I used the paint left over and applied it to another piece of card stock. I made sure the dots of paint were large so I could get more backgrounds from it.
For the rest of the card, I die-cut THIS unicorn from white, pink, and silver card stock and added THIS paintbrush to it’s hands as well as THIS envelope in the other.
I stamped THIS sentiment on THIS heart to finish off this card…
I added THIS die-cut sentiment to finish off this card…
I hope this inspires you to try an acrylic paint background. I love the texture it gives.
