Hi, crafty friends. Today’s card share features a fun spring scene…
I started by creating a 5 x 7 white card base. I stamped the solid tulip leaves image from THIS new set with THIS ink along the bottom of the card. Next, I stamped the solid tulip top image from the same set using THIS ink. I stamped the tulip top highlight image on top of the pink solid tulip after it was dry with THIS ink. There is another layer you can stamp on the leaves for a highlight but I skipped that layer because I wanted to do some ink blending at the bottom. I used THIS cloud stencil with THIS ink to create a sky background above the flowers. I stenciled THIS mushroom house and cut it out and adhered it to the center of the panel. I added some shading with Copic markers and spots to the top of the mushroom with THIS white pen.
I stamped and colored one of the gnomes from THIS stamp set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut him out. I added some of THIS to his hat for some shine. I used foam tape to adhere him in front of the house for added dimension. I die-cut some of THESE clouds and added them to the sky. I stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set in one of them and tucked a sun die-cut behind the other. I finished off the card by rounding two corners with THIS.
I’ve linked to the entire Lucky to Know You release below as well as supplies used on today’s card.
Thanks so much for visiting today. Have a great day.
