Hello, crafty friends. I have a simple card to share today. I wanted to challenge myself to make a card in under 15 minutes. I decided to keep the design simple and focus on a different card opening…
I started by creating a gatefold card. I started with a 8.5 x 5.5 piece of white card stock and scored it at 2 1/4 inch from both sides. I heat embossed THIS heart background on THIS card stock with THIS purple embossing powder. I cut the panel down the center and adhered the two pieces on the front panels of the gate fold cards. I die-cut THESE words three times and adhered the layers together. I added them to a die-cut heart and adhered only the left half of the heart to the front of the card. This allows the card to open easily.
Here’s a closer look…
I hope this inspires you to create a gatefold card.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day.
