Snowflake Builder Card Kit

Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s card features THIS new card kit from Simon Says Stamp…

I stamped one of the layering snowflakes from THIS 6×8 stamp set that’s included in the kit on to a piece of vellum. I die-cut a circle from one of the patterned papers using THIS die and adhered it on top of the vellum. I stamped the bottom of the snow globe image from THIS set, cut it out, and adhered it under the die-cut circle to create a snow globe. I white heat embossed a coordinating sentiment from the stamp set and added THIS on top.

I also love how the kit contains multiple envelopes. I like to create coordinating envelopes by either stamping or die-cutting them to match. I used the snowflake die that’s in the kit to die-cut the flap of the envelope. I adhered a white piece of card stock underneath. It’s such a simple way to tie everything together.

I turned the card into a shaker by adding some of the mica flakes behind the vellum window. I also added drops of THIS on the snowflake for some shine.

Here’s a closer look…
