Interactive Halloween Cards

Hi, crafty friends. I’m sharing a couple of interactive Halloween cards that I created for my son’s teachers…

I started by die-cutting THIS sliding window die out of a patterned paper panel. I adhered a 3.5 x 5 piece of  black card stock to the bottom inside of the moving window and adhered a circle die to the top with a “pull here” sentiment from THIS stamp set. I added foam tape to the back of the patterned paper piece around the window and adhered it to a note card.

I stamped and colored THESE trick-or-treaters and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. I trimmed out the sentiments from THESE printed cards. I finished off the design by adding a few of THESE enamel stars. I added some of THIS to the costumes for some shine. I also created coordinating envelopes by stamping THIS background on THESE envelopes.

When the recipient pulls the tab, a gift card is revealed…

I hope this inspires you to try an interactive element on  your next card.

The die I used today is by far my favorite (and easiest) interactive die I own. I’ve shared other projects in the past using the same die HERE, HERE, and HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Happy Halloween!
