Hi there, crafty friends. I’m back this week with lots of inspiration using THIS Cheer and Joy release from Simon Says Stamp. Put on your sunglasses because I have a bright Christmas card to share…
I love to stretch the use of my stamps, especially Holiday Stamps. I stamped the Christmas trees from THIS stamp set in a circle using a variety of Distress Oxide inks. I stamped one tree and then sprayed it with water. Since Distress Oxides react with water, the image bleeds and creates a watercolor look. I dried each tree after spraying and between stamping to build layers of color.
I stamped, colored, and cut out the Santa from THIS stamp set and adhered him in the center of the card along with a sentiment from THIS printed set. I added THIS to his eyes, buttons, and shoes for a bit of shine. I also added a few enamel stars to finish off the card.
