Cheer and Joy Release Inspiration Week-Day Five

Hi, crafty friends. I’m wrapping up the Cheer and Joy Release Inspiration Week here on my blog with this card…

I’m a big fan of THESE coloring cards, but wanted to change the design a bit. I started by die-cutting the birds using THIS die. I die-cut a piece of patterned paper using a larger die from the same set to mat behind the panel. I colored in the scene using THESE markers. I applied THIS to the leaves and THIS to the berries for some shine. I added some enamel eyes to the birds and white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set. I love how I completely changed the look of the coloring card.

Here’s a closer look…

I finished off the card by adding THIS to the snow and adhering the pieces to a 4.25 x 4.25 white card base.

I hope this inspires you to try and stretch the look printed coloring cards.

Hi. I got your web address from one of Jennifer McGuire’s older You Tube videos. ; the one about the gift for a teacher made with coloring cards. I clicked on the link she left to find your clever artistry and she was right. I love your cards. How cute they are!
