Hello, crafty friends. School is back in session and I’ve got a teacher gift idea to share today. If you’ve followed my blog than you know how much I adore teachers and feel they deserve to be spoiled. I try to make/buy Aiden’s teachers a little something every month. This month I chose to do some personalized stationary…
I started by creating card bases from THIS card stock. On the front panel, I rubbed it down with THIS powder bag and stamped THIS background stamp with THIS ink. I sprinkled on some of THIS white embossing powder and heat set it. I thought the white against the black would be perfect for a teacher card because it resembles a chalkboard.
I typed out, “From the desk of Ms. Krista” on my computer. (I used American Typewriter font). I die-cut them using one of THESE circles. I also cut some circles from THIS fun foam to adhere behind the card stock circles for dimension. I added one of THESE apples to the center and adhered the circle to the center of the background.
Since the card base was black, I cut some colored panels for the inside using THIS card stock and THIS rectangle die. This gives a place for the recipient to write their personal message.
I packaged all of the cards, THESE envelopes, washi tape, and pen up in one of THESE clear boxes.
I hope this inspires you to create a card set for someone special in your life.
Thanks for visiting today. Have a great week!
