Die-cut Window Gift Card Holder

Hi, crafty friends. I am a big fan of incorporating gift giving into my card making and today’s card does just that…

I started by creating the pocket. I die-cut THIS gift card holder die from THIS wood grain paper. I die-cut THIS reindeer from the front panel of the pocket and added acetate behind the opening, creating a window. I assembled the pocket and cut the same die-cut from kraft card stock. I die-cut one of THESE circles around it, creating a circle frame that I adhered to the white die-cut after adding a black piece of paper and red glitter paper in between the layers for the eyes and nose. I finished it off by white heat embossing a sentiment from THIS stamp set.

I added a Starbucks gift card inside the pocket…

For the background, I applied THIS white pigment ink through THIS stencil with THIS sponge dauber. I wanted it to be thick and paint like so I applied it heavily.

I also made an envelope seal by stamping an image from THIS stamp set on THIS masking paper. I used THIS coordinating die to cut it out…

I hope this inspires you to add a gift giving element to your next project.

Thanks so much visiting. Have a great day!
